We want our residents to have a strong voice, helping us improve the services you receive from us. That’s why we’re recruiting two new resident groups that can do just that.

Following our merger, we’re recruiting residents to two new resident groups that will help us identify where and how we can improve our services.

The two new groups are:

  • The resident Scrutiny Panel, whose job it will be to audit our different service areas and work with us to improve them; and,
  • The Strategy and Policy group who will feed into our business planning and oversee our policy changes.

We’ll need at least eight members of each group and are planning to have them up and running by April 2018.

Previous volunteers have said:

Being part of the Scrutiny Panel empowered me to address issues that affect the quality of service for residents. It also gave me the ability to look at the whole organisation from the perspectives of the residents and Peabody management

I was proud to be involved and ensure that the voices of residents were heard and listened to whilst scrutinising and helping to improve Peabody resident services. Being involved in decision-making was important to me in making sure that Peabody delivers quality services that residents need, at a good value.

Application process

If you’re interested in becoming a member of either group, all you have to do is fill in an expression of interest form and send it to us by Wednesday 14 February, either by email to Get.Involved@peabody.org.uk or by post to:

Peabody Resident Involvement

Once we’ve received your expression of interest, you’ll be invited to a taster session to find out more about the groups. These will take place on:

  1. Monday 26 February
  2. Tuesday 27 February, and
  3. Wednesday 28 February

We’ll then create a shortlist and invite those who are selected to interviews which will take place the week beginning Monday 20 March.
