Following a very intense procurement process, in which residents played a major role, we have appointed three new contractors with responsibility for the long-term delivery of our repairs - Mears, Morrisons and Enterprise.
These major new contracts will provide major savings that can be reinvested back into homes. We will continue to measure quality, efficiency and value for money through our regular survey inspections and by talking to our customers.
Satisfaction with our repairs service has risen every year and we believe these changes will help them get closer to our 90% satisfaction target.
The new contract arrangements go live in August.
