Our Chief Executive Brendan Sarsfield announces The Asset Management Procurement Project 2009

I’m pleased to announce the start of the Asset Management Procurement Project 2009, which is the process of re-tendering new repairs and maintenance contracts. It is one of the largest group wide projects since the formation of the Family Mosaic Group, for us and most importantly our residents.

We are developing a robust market tender which reflects our expectations from our contracting partners in achieving our 3 star ambitions.

The Asset Management Procurement Project 2009/2010

As a result of our merger, acquisition and stock disposal, Family Mosaic Group has built up a large and diverse housing stock. To support the continuous maintenance, emergency repairs, cyclical works and our portfolio investment, the Group has been working with a number of contracting suppliers over the past few years to support the Asset Management service.

Our current arrangement with our existing repairs and maintenance partners are due to be re-procured in 2010. This means we have started the process of re-procuring similar services to support us over the coming years by using an official tender which was published in the Offical Journal of the European Union (OJEU)
