Floating Support (Essex)

Funded by Essex Supporting People, Floating Support is a -short-term service that provides support to vulnerable people, regardless of their tenure, who may be experiencing problems with maintaining their accommodation or have health or other issues which affect their ability to cope with day-to-day living.

Our aim is to enable people to live independently in the community and assist with looking at housing options for those in need of a home. We also provide assistance for those with tenancies or owner-occupiers. With the intention of gradually reducing our support as your situation improves, we can work with you for up to two years or until you no longer need the support.

Areas we provide support in:

• Thames Gateway, Essex - (covering the local authorities of Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford & Rayleigh)
• Southend on Sea, Essex - (covering the borough of Southend including Westcliff, Leigh, Chalkwell, Shoeburyness, Southchurch etc.)
• Havering - covering all districts in the London Borough of Havering
  
• Thurrock - covering all districts in the Borough of Thurrock
