We have a very large floating support service providing short term
support services in Havering, Thurrock, Basildon, Rochford, Castle
Point and Babergh. For more information, and to make an application,

We have purpose built schemes for young people leaving care across the
County, including Basildon, Chelmsford, Braintree and Colchester. Staff are on
site across the 24 hour period providing support to enable the young people to
gain the skills they need to move on independently.
We have a number of hostels providing emergency housing for homeless
families, single homeless and vulnerable young people, these are located in
Thurrock, Basildon, Colchester and Braintree.
We have a mix of shared housing and self contained accommodation for Adults
with Learning Disabilities, support is based on site and schemes include
temporary accommodation for young people with learning disabilities and
permanent housing.
We have 2 purpose built supported housing schemes in Castle Point and
Colchester for Adults with an acquired brain injury, the schemes provide
temporary housing for up to 2 years to support the tenants to gain the skills
they require to live independently.
We have supported accommodation with support for adults with mental health
problems in Harlow and Colchester. We work with a specialist provider in Harlow
and directly provide the support to the schemes in Colchester.
Vulnerable Families (teenage parents)
We have a number of supported housing schemes for vulnerable young families,
staff are provided on site to support the parents gain parenting skills and to
successfully move on to independent living.
Our care services provide care and support services to Adults with learning
disabilities and adults with physical disabilities.
We have 9 residential care homes and 3 nursing homes in South Essex, the
smallest is home to 2 people and the largest a 13 bedded nursing home for adults
with severe physical disabilities.
Community Support is the provision of both personal and social care to enable
Adults with Learning Disabilities to live independently in the community. We
provide both on site, 24 hour staffing and visiting support as individuals needs
require. We currently have services in Basildon, Braintree, Colchester,
Chelmsford and Tendering.
