Time Bank

Family Mosaic's ‘Time Bank’ project, launched in Spring 2010, allows Hackney residents to volunteer time helping others and receive help in return.  Everyone's time is conisdered to be equal and one hour spent volunteering earns you one time credit that can be used to get an hours help in return.

To date we have over 40 time bank members in Hackney who have shared their skills in gardening, painting and decorating and dog walking (to name but a few)!
