We understand that our supported housing customers have very diverse needs and we try to make sure that the training we offer reflects this.

We try to ensure training takes place at a range of locations so that everyone can attend something. We also work in partnership with local colleges and other training providers to help offer a variety of opportunities.

The courses in Essex are aimed at encouraging our customers to try something new which can help increase confidence and independence and in some cases may even lead to volunteering or work opportunities. They also encourage customers to get out and meet other like minded people.

Examples of courses we have run in the past include First Aid for Parents, Mental Health First Aid, Life Choices, and Looking After Yourself.
