Get Connected works with local young people to train Family Mosaic residents from the same community to use computers and the internet.

Step 1 - Get in touch... If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the project then get in touch! We'll come and meet you and tell you about 'Get Connected' and understand exactly what you want help with.
Step 2 - Get on a course... You attend one of our courses local to you – sessions run for 2 hours and happen once a week for 8 weeks.
Step 3 - Get Connected! If you want we match you with a digital mentor – we have a bank of volunteers who can meet with you once a week for up to 3 months. Digital Mentors are there to help you embed your new skills and make computers and the internet a part of your everyday life.

Is Get Connected for you?

Get Connected is about what you want to learn. Whether you’re a complete beginner or would just like to brush up your skills, we can help.

We use an ‘online course’, which means you progress through the course on a computer at your own pace. There are no lectures from a teacher at the front! But there are lots of helpful local young people on hand to give help and advice if needed.
