The Customer Panel is made up of a diverse set of residents who have agreed to take part in surveys and discussion groups in ways that suit them.
People from a wide range of backgrounds and ages have joined. If there is a something important to consult on - we talk to the Panel.
As a Panel member, you decide how you get involved and what subjects you give views on, although we would like you to get involved as much as possible. Being a Panel member wont take up much of your time.
Many of the activities can be carried out in your home. You will not be obliged to attend any meetings if you dont want to and your views and opinions will always be confidential.
We appreciate that taking part in surveys is not everyone's idea of fun, so we always offer great prizes to encourage as many of you as possible to take part.
If you choose to attend focus groups of meetings you will be paid expenses such as travel, parking and childcare.
We aim to turn your views into action. After each survey we will send you a copy of Spotlight - the newsletter for Panel Members reporting back what you siad and what we are doing about it.
If you attend an event such as a focus group we will either write to you saying what has been agreed or publish details in the next copy of Spotlight.
We carry out two or three customer panel surveys every year so you will be able to take part in one of these within a month or so of joining.
If you have said that you want to take part in discussion groups or have indicated an interest in a particular area, then we will contact you when we are consulting on that subject.
