Swapping homes

A mutual exchange offers you a valuable additional option to move home by swapping homes with other tenants anywhere in the country.

We maintain a transfer list of over 2000 people looking for a transfer and due to the number of applications we receive, we can only help a limited number of tenants with urgent needs with an offer of an empty home each year.

We strongly recommend that any tenant looking to move home makes the effort to look for a suitable exchange, and we offer advice and encouragement so that as many tenants as possible can move this way. For information on your rehousing options, please call us on 020 7089 1225 or contact us online.

We are also registered with HouseExchange website - a FREE service for existing council tenants / local authority tenants and housing association tenants. HouseExchange provides information given by other tenants that would like to move home.
