The Metropolitan Police has established Safer Neighbourhoods teams across all 624 wards in London, with each team having at least one sergeant, two PCs and three Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). 

The Safer Neighbourhoods teams are all about local policing; police working with residents to identify and tackle issues of concern in your neighbourhood.  Their aim is to listen and talk to you and find out what affects your daily life and feelings of security.  These might be anti-social behaviour, graffiti, yobs or vandalism.  Then they work in partnership with you and other agencies to find a lasting solution.
