Not all our properties have on-site parking available to residents, and even if there is, you should be aware that there may be some restrictions in place.

This section summarises the main things to consider if you have access to a vehicle.

Estate parking

Many of our housing schemes have private parking available for use by our residents without any additional costs to them. The exception to this is schemes which have parking enforcement in place. These schemes can be identified by the signs which are in place.

In these schemes, you must contact the Customer Care Line on 0300 123 3456 to request permission to park here, and request a resident parking permit or visitor permit (if the estate regulations allow it). You will also be advised of any costs for this service. You will need to pay an annual administration fee.

There are other schemes that have allocated parking bays marked with the corresponding property number. You must not use other residents’ bays without their consent.

If you intend to park anywhere in a Family Mosaic scheme, you must ensure that your vehicle is in working order and must have a valid tax disc displayed. Failure to do so could lead to us removing your vehicle from our land and any subsequent costs charged to you.

Street Parking

The majority of street properties will be subject to the parking criteria of your local council. You will need to request permission directly from the council if controls are in place.

Please note that in many cases, particularly with newly built blocks, there is an agreement between the local council and Family Mosaic that the council will not issue residential parking to incoming tenants. If you are considering accepting a property on an estate, please ensure that you check with us before accepting if this will influence your decision.
