Following hot on the heels of Housing Minister Margaret Beckett’s acknowledgement that Family Mosaic is held up as an inspiration to other organisations for making things happen, we are also delighted that Family Mosaic has achieved a Best Companies - One Star First Class award for Corporate Excellence in the Workplace.

The awards are run annually by Best Companies Ltd in conjunction with The Sunday Times.

Family Mosaic has been rated as “First Class” alongside companies such as Mazda, Mothercare, Iceland Frozen Foods, AXA, Boots even the National Housing Federation to name but a few.

Over 2000 companies took part and out of those only 414 were awarded a Star Status.

An award ceremony was recently held at the Cumberland Hotel where Jan French, Family Mosaic’s Learning & Development Manager was presented with the award by Jonathan Austin (pictured) – Founder and CEO of Best Companies.

Johnathan Austin commented: “I would like to congratulate Family Mosaic on their outstanding achievement. Our role at Best Companies is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers. This year it is encouraging to see that the number of companies entering the accreditation scheme for excellence in workplace engagement has grown by over twenty percent."

Family Mosaic has also made it into the top 500 Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For and we hope to make it into the top 100 next year.
