Family Mosaic assists with respite centres and rehousing after early morning blaze
Family Mosaic residents who live at Nutt Street, Soutwark were evacuated at 4.30am this morning when a major fire broke out on a nearby building site, though it was not one of ours.
All Nutt Street
residents are now able to return home after a surveyor's visit confirming it is
safe to do so.
Council owned homes have been seriously damaged but our homes thankfully only suffered superficial damage.
Family Mosaic is assisting Southwark both in the respite centres and with re-housing and we will make available what properties we can to the Borough's affected residents.
A Family Mosaic housing officer and surveyor have been on site all day helping both our residents and other residents in the area, clearly demonstrating a 'We Can' attitude. We would like to pass on our sympathies to those affected.
