Essex staff took advantage of a break in the clouds and organised a 'Picnic in the Park' for tenants, with groups from several areas of our floating support service attending.

On one of the warmest afternoons this year, the day was a great success with more than 125 tenants taking part. Games and activities were provided by staff which included face painting, treasure hunt, toddler activities, egg and spoon race, sack race and more.

The feedback was excellent - all those who attended asked when our next joint activity was taking place and they were all invited verbally to attend our joint Halloween party, which will be in fancy dress.

Thanks go to all the staff who assisted, and to the tenants for making it such a great day.
