Men's Health Week

08 Jun 2010
Get fit this summer and reap the benefits of an active lifestyle

Come and join in our Men's Health Week open day in South and East London on Monday 14th June and find out about how getting active can improve your lifestyle.

Men's Health Week runs from 14th to 20th June 2010 and aims to get men active and highlight the benefits of exersise to help ensure good health and wellbeing.

How can physical activity benefit me?

The benefits of having an active lifestyle are numerous and will be looked at in further detail during the open day. This is what the Men's Health Forum has to say:

"Physical activity can improve all aspects of health, from relieving stress and anxiety to losing weight, reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. If it came in the form of a pill, we'd all be asking for it. Yet too many men are now physically inactive."

Where is it?

We are holding 2 open days on Monday 14th June at the following locations:

  • Clapham Youth Club, 61 Lyham Road, SW2 5DH, from midday to 4pm.
  • 2 Link Street, London, E9
