Lewisham was one of the four London Boroughs where Family Mosaic worked in partnership with other organisations to run sports activities for young people in the school holidays.

The Activplus programme was developed to provide positive and constructive activities for young people aged 8 – 19 in partnership with Metropolitan Housing and London and Quadrant.  Lots of different activities were on offer including table tennis, cricket, rounders, football and basketball.

Kwame (pictured right) was glad to get out of the house: “It's been excellent.  If it wasn’t for this I would have been at home doing nothing but watching TV.”
