Family Mosaic has recently agreed with Telford Homes to jointly develop five sites owned by the Association in Southwark. The sites were originally purchased by Family HA before the merger for shared ownership housing, however, a change in the funding regime meant that the proposals for the developments had to be rethought as the schemes were now more appropriate for private housing.

One of the sites is on the New Kent Road close to Waterloo. The high quality and innovative design for this scheme will make it stand out in the area.

The schemes consist of 90 units for private sale and 22 units for rent and shared ownership. Any profits on the scheme can be used by the association to invest in further schemes.In the future we will be building on the relationship with Telford Homes to look at similar project or to work with them on being the affordable provider for their schemes. We work in the same areas and such partnership working benefits both organisations.
