Charlton Triangle Homes, subsidiary of Family Mosaic, has launched a new partnership with GLLaB (Greenwich Local Labour and Business), which will present tenants and residents with a range of job opportunities based around the O2 stewarding sporting events leading up to and including the Olympics, together with skills based training in order to prepare tenants for future potential employment opportunities.

The partnership kicked off the new collaboration by holding an all-day road show at one of our community spaces on the Springfield estate. Despite the appalling weather we were amazed at the turn out with many tenants determined to make the most of this opportunity.

Each tenant was asked to supply present employment and training history and then allocated an advisor for assessment. Over 40 were offered further training, due to commence in January 2008 with the remainder either referred to other agencies or added to the list of people that have existing CV s and are job-ready.
