Family Mosaic's IT upgrate to pioneer HA sector
Family Mosaic will launch its new IT strategy over the coming months to advance internal capabilities and help improve service delivery to customers.
We have recently formed an agreement with global telecommunications provider Telstra International, who will transform our existing computer network and data storage facilities.
We will be the first in the sector to implement an MPLS network, which will be deployed over the coming months, providing 'any-to-any' connectivity between our main sites, enabling a much increased bandwidth as well as an alternative route of connection should any part of the network fail.
Our data storage will be moved to the Telstra data centre in Docklands - an all-purpose state-of-the-art facility, providing superior levels of security and facilities management.
We will also be implementing a new SAN (Storage Area Network), providing us with the means to centralise all data back-ups and numerous recovery points that can be instantly restored.
How will this improve our services?
Such a comprehensive IT solution will serve to vastly speed up many of our internal processes, helping staff to access, update and store important information that we use to communicate with our customers more efficiently. Our new strategy will greatly enhance our disaster recovery capabilities and greatly reduce the potential loss of data.
