Launch of Floating Support service in Hammersmith & Fulham

Family Mosaic's new Hammersmith and Fulham Floating Support service launched last week, commissioned for 3 years by the Council to deliver assistance to people with a range of needs.

We were chosen from 9 applicants and awarded the contract to deliver the service which provides essential assistance to a wide variery of people with a range of needs giving them the confidence, resources and skills to live independently.

The new service can be accessed by anyone experiencing a difficult period in their lives which is affecting their ability to maintain their home, from young people and vulnerable families to ex roughsleepers and drug users or simply people experiencing financial difficulty.

"We look forward to working with our colleagues across Hammersmith and Fulham to deliver an excellent service which meets the needs of the most vulnerable people in our community" said Amina Rahman, Assistant Director at Family Mosaic, speaking at the launch event at our Old Oak offices, where the service will be based.

Councillor Tobias said "We are delighted that Family Mosaic turned out to be the most suitably qualified and experienced.  We are most confident that the commissioning and procurement process has delivered an excellent outcome for both the Council and its residents and we look forward to working with Family Mosaic in delivering this important service."
