HCA approves over £10m for Stonegrove and Spur Road development
Government funding of over £10 million has been approved to press ahead with a major regeneration project at Stonegrove and Spur Road in Edgware.
The cash injection, which will come from the HCA's Kickstart funding programme for stalled development projects, will be used to construct 98 flats for shared ownership, private sale and rented accommodation as part of the area's regeneration.
Family Mosaic is in partnership with Barrett Homes and Barnet Council to deliver the project which forms part of a larger development of 937 high quality homes, reflecting the housing needs of local people as well as creating a new, sustainable neighbourhood. There will be a mix of affordable and private homes set in a high quality landscape, which will also include a new community square, hall and church.
Family Mosaic's Chief Executive, Brendan Sarsfield, said: "This will help us give the residents homes they will be proud of."
