Our Supported Housing trainee support worker programme was announced as the winner of the HCA Academy Awards under the Skills for Better Places category.

The announcement was made at an award ceremony last night.

The Judges said about the programme, "An impressive project that demonstrates exemplary partnership working and commitment to improving opportunities for service users from vulnerable groups."

Yvonne Arrowsmith, Director of Essex and Supported Housing, said, "We are absolutely delighted to be awarded this recognition for a training programme that not only gives a fantastic opportunity for our tenants and service users, but also gives us fantastic support workers at the end of the programme."
