Over 200 homes transferred to Richmond Housing Partnership
This week Family Mosaic will transfer ownership of all its housing stock in Richmond, comprising over 200 homes, to Richmond Housing Partnership.
The transfer is part of Family Mosaic’s strategy to rationalise its portfolio across London. Income from the sales will be reinvested in those London boroughs where Family Mosaic has sufficient stock. This means Family Mosaic can continue to deliver a more responsive and efficient housing service to residents in its key boroughs.
Family Mosaic has already transferred stock in Camden, Kingston and Slough and other deals are planned for the future.
Brendan Sarsfield, Family Mosaic's Chief Executive said:
"We have transfered these homes to RHP because we believe it can provide a more local service than we can. We have done similar deals in other boroughs as part of our Big but Local strategy. This deal enables us to focus our efforts on boroughs and communities where we can make a positive difference. It is a win-win deal for all our residents".
David Done, Chief Executive of RHP said:
“We are delighted to welcome more than 200 new customers to RHP. We believe in providing excellent customer service to our tenants and leaseholders and being local means that we can really develop a personal relationship, whilst offering great value for money. We are looking forward to hearing the views and opinions of our new residents, so that we can deliver real improvements in the areas that they feel are most important.”
