Cuthbert Jack, Dalston tenant and Chair of the Chow Square & Arcola/Dunn Street Residents Association (CHADRA), was recently presented with a national award for his contribution to tenant participation.

The National Black and New Communities Organisation award is given annually to a tenant anywhere in the country who has diligently worked on behalf of and for tenants.

Bill Brown, Chief Executive of NBNC and Hackney Deputy Speaker, Cllr Ian Rathbone presented the award, expressing their delight for the Hackney resident, who has worked for many years in the field of tenant involvement.
