A new project has been launched to support Islington residents make the best use of local services to find work and training.

The Islington Employment Mentor project is a partnership between Hyde Northside Homes, Family Mosaic, Southern Housing Group, Circle 33 Housing Trust, London and Quadrant and Newlon Fusion. It will help their residents who are 16 and over, out of work and on benefits to access the right employment and training services to meet their needs.

Employed by Hyde Housing, the mentor will work closely with staff from each of the partner organisations and will have a community presence, working with residents at local venues and housing offices.
