Family Mosaic transfers 49 properties to Innisfree Housing Association
Innisfree Housing Association has acquired Family Mosaic’s property portfolio in the London Borough of Camden. This comprises 49 homes, all in street properties, and most within walking distance of Innisfree’s West Hampstead office.
Family Mosaic has been rationalising its property holdings in order to provide a better service to its tenants. Brendan Sarsfield Chief Executive said “We want to be able to provide a local service to our residents but this means accepting that there are areas where we can’t do this as effectively as others. Stock rationalisation will benefit our former residents in Camden and the rest of our residents as we will have more time to concentrate our efforts on serving them”
Cllr Chris Naylor, Executive Member for Homes and Housing Strategy at Camden Council said: "It is good to see housing associations working together to rationalise their stock in areas where they only have a few properties. This enables smaller housing associations in those areas to benefit from the transfer of stock and become more sustainable as well as providing locally based services to tenants."
