Bellway and Family Mosaic Housing acquire new homes site in Poplar, E14

The former Blessed John Roche School, Upper North Street, Poplar E14 has been jointly acquired by Bellway Homes and Family Mosaic Housing.CGI of proposed Poplar development

Bellway and Family Mosaic Housing propose to develop over 600 new homes which will comprise family accommodation and apartments.

Blessed John Roche School is strategically located between Canary Wharf and the site for the 2012 Olympics.  The site also benefits from its proximity to the DLR station recently opened at Langdon Park.

Dick Mortimer, Family Mosaic’s Group Development Director, said “Despite the difficult market conditions the site represents an excellent opportunity to build a mixture of affordable and private homes in what will be a significant landmark development within walking distance of Canary Wharf”.
