14 Jul 2008 Family Mosaic staff scale Britain's highest mountains to raise £18,000 for Wooden Spoon charity
Staff from Family Mosaic took to the hills recently to meet the Four Peaks Challenge, a grueling 48 hour speed-hike up the UK’s highest mountains to raise money for disadvantaged children through the Wooden Spoon charity.
A record 60 teams took part in the 25th anniversary Four Peaks Challenge (26 - 28 June 2008), braving driving wind and rain to conquer Ben Nevis, Helvellyn, Snowdon and Carantouhill in less than 48 hours.
The Four Peaks Challenge is a charity fundraiser by the Wooden Spoon charity which helps mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged children, young people and their families.
