Buying a home

Are you unable to access social rented housing, but also can’t afford to buy or rent on the open market.

Priority is given to those who are giving up a council or housing association tenancy and to key workers who meet the Government's eligibility rules.

You may part buy a share in a home from 25% up to 75% initially, and pay a subsidised rent on the part you don't own. You may, if you wish, buy further shares until you eventually own outright.
