Essex: Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford & Rayleigh, Brentwood, Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford.

Southend on Sea (Essex): The Borough of Southend including Westcliff, Leigh, Chalkwell, Shoeburyness, Southchurch, etc.

Havering: all districts in the London Borough of Havering.

Thurrock: all districts in the Borough of Thurrock.

Haringey Families Support Service

Information and referral guidance for our housing related support service in Tottenham

This service is funded by Haringey Council and is a housing related support service to sustain and improve the life chances of Haringey residents.

The service is for families, teenage parents and offers a mediation service to young people experiencing problems at home.

Support is provided for up to 6 months. Referrals can be made directly to the service using the referral form below.

The service is based in Tottenham with an office in the Northumberland Park Resource Centre and is a visiting support service that covers the whole of Haringey.

Hammersmith and Fulham Multi-Disciplinary Floating Support

Information and referral guidance for our multi-disciplinary floating support service in Hammersmith & Fulham

We offer Floating Support to people aged 16-54 in the London Borough of Hammersmith. Applicants can be in any housing tenure and support is offered for up to 2 years.

Greenwich Young People Floating Support

Information and referral guidance for our young people floating support service in Greenwich

We offer Floating Support to young people aged 16-24 living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Referrals are via the borough’s youth service at The Point.

Shoreditch Targeted Preventative Support Service

Information and referral guidance for our Targeted Preventative Support Service in Shoreditch

Family Mosaic works in partnership with London Borough of Hackney to provide targeted preventative support services (floating support) to residents of the Shoreditch area of Hackney.

This is a short term service to help promote independence, health and wellbeing and provide the support which enables people to continue to live safely in their own homes in the community. This can be helping people deal with difficult housing problems and managing a tenancy. The service aims to help people to become more independent through support.

To make a referral, please complete the form and return it to our colleagues at Outward Housing who manage all referrals.

Please note that the borough also provide support to residents in the rest of the borough, as well as a health and wellbeing service and a volunteering and befriending service. All of these services can be accessed via the same referral form

Southend access point referrals

We work in partnership with Southend-On-Sea Council to provide a single access point for a range of supporting people-funded services.

We receive referrals for floating support as well as carrying out all floating support assessments and any crisis work required.

Who we support

The service has an “open access” approach, which means anybody who has a connection to Southend and has a housing support need can apply. We take direct referrals, referrals from family or friends and referrals from statutory, community and voluntary services. We operate a priority based waiting list to manage demand at peak times.

We are committed to meeting the housing support needs of a wide spectrum of people across the local communities we work in and this includes people with more complex and challenging support needs. To support this, we are committed to providing a priority response to those people who find themselves in a housing crisis. If you are applying for support either for yourself or on behalf of someone else and either you or they are in crisis, please make that clear on your application form so we can respond accordingly.
