28 Nov 2007 Charlton Triangle staff put on their rubber gloves and get 'Back to the Floor'
Apart from raising over £500 for Demelza House and providing an opportunity for tenants to voice their opinions, the event enabled the team to look at the issues from a caretakers point of view, providing a different perspective and a real opportunity to implement changes.
As a direct result of the day both Monitor Services and Charlton Triangle Homes are looking at different ideas in order to improve the partnership, strengthen the lines of communication between both organisations and improve service delivery across our estates.
Andrew Kimmance remarked, 'The day had been a total success in providing an insight into the challenges and highlighting positive ways forward.’ Some of the ideas being considered include a more effective method of reporting health and safety issues, the possibility of smaller bin bags to encourage tenants to make more use of the bin chutes and the potential introduction of a HIT SQUAD offering a one off, top to bottom repair and deep clean opportunity to identified blocks.
