New Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning Contracts

Re-tendering of contracts for all London and Essex properties begins

We wish to advise all residents that we have just started the process of re-tendering the contracts for all grounds maintenance and cleaning across both London and Essex.

This is quite a challenging process and will take a number of months as we are required to advertise the proposed new Contracts in accordance with EU Regulations.

At the moment we have:

  • advertised the new contracts and invited expressions of interest from contractors
  • written to all our existing contractors to ensure they are aware of what we are doing
  • written to all leaseholders with stage 1 consultation, as we are required to do by law
  • commenced the process of establishing a Customer Procurement Panel, through which we will consult with on a regular basis.

We will keep tenants informed in future newsletters as to the progress we are making and any key decisions taken.
