My Place, My Neighbourhood

07 Apr 2011
Working with residents to improve the safety, cleanliness and attractivness of estates

Family Mosaic's estate inspection programme, myplace, launched its new sister initiative 'myneighbourhood' this month, to improve on how staff, residents and contractors work together to identify and address issues at a local level.

'myplace' was originally launched to enable residents and staff to identify local problems and priorities for improvements in our streets and neighbourhoods, through a series of 'Walks and Talks' held on our schemes and in our wards.

Our new 'myplace' and 'myneighbourhood' hopes to improve on this by introducing a clear set of areas of assessment and a new grading system to help your Neighbourhood Manager to review the scheme/neighbourhood and grade it as either Gold, Silver or Bronze.

It will also allow us to review our monthly performance against the commitments made as part of the estate improvement plans agreed by residents and ourselves, following the Walks and Talks.

This scheme will enable our Housing and Asset Management staff to work closely together to improve the safety, cleanliness and attractivness of the schemes and wards residents live in.
