230 residents attend Family Mosaic job fair

With growing unemployment figures recently reaching a 17-year high, Family Mosaic's Pathways2work team took steps to help residents back into employment by hosting a Jobs, Careers and Advice fair recently.

Customers attend jobs fairPathways2work provide tailored support and training to help customers reach their career goals, and the event saw 230 people attend, many leaving with CV tips, career ideas and a revitalized energy to apply for jobs.

A CV workshop and business start-up class provided informative group discussions, whilst other attendees perused existing job vacancies in the 'Jobs Corner'. 

Job providers were also on hand to talk through the different types of roles available in a range of industries, including care and support, construction and hospitality. Staff were also on hand to provide expert benefit and debt advice, information about our apprenticeship scheme, and various volunteering opportunities including the chance to become a digital mentor.
