Family Mosaic would like to say a big thank you to the 731 people who applied to this year's Trainee Housing Officer recruitment drive. We have so far recruited 7 people into current vacancies, and are compiling a reserve list so that, when we next have a vacancy for a Housing Officer, we can simply call the next Trainee on our list and they will be ready to start.

The scheme is in its fifth year and this year we received a greater number of applicants than ever before.

I would like to say to all of you who applied that it was an impressive quality of applications we received so please don't feel too disappointed if you were not interviewed on this occasion. When we have 731 people to choose from, it is unfortunate but inevitable that the pass mark rises.

Don't let this discourage you from applying for other positions you see at Family Mosaic if they interest you. All our posts are advertised on our website, and within a year, we will be working on the 2009 Trainee recruitment drive.
